What We Offer
Chapel
Chapel is a valued time within our school community. We start our week by opening God’s Word and worshiping together. Biblical teachings are delivered through messages by teachers, pastors, and individuals in our community.
Sports
The NCA Knights compete against other Christian schools within the Toronto Eastern division through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
Currently, the competitive sports available are;
-
Grades 3-8: Cross Country
-
Grades 5-8: Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball
-
Grades 7-8: Badminton
-
Grades 3-8: Track and Field
Service Projects
Our mission is to teach students to love and serve, following in the example of Jesus. We are a community focused on service to others. Some past opportunities have been Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes, Giving Campaigns for the local Food Bank, and community projects for overseas missions.
Band
The Grade 5-8 students have the unique opportunity to participate in Band. Students hone these skills and display their progress at events such as Christmas concerts, Grandparents' Day, and at a spring competition at Canada's Wonderland.
French
We believe that learning a new language should be fun! At NCA, French begins in Junior Kindergarten, following the AIM (Accelerative Integrated Method) program which incorporates movement, dance, and early opportunities for conversation.
