Who We Are
At Newmarket Christian Academy, we believe children learn and grow best when they are truly known. In our Christ-dentred community we seek to understand each child's gifts, needs, and ways of learning - nurturing growth academically, spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.
What We Offer
Chapel
Chapel is a valued part of life at NCA. Each week, our school community gathers to worship, explore God's Word, and grow together in faith. Through biblical teaching, prayer, and shared worship, students are encouraged to deepen their understanding of God's love and discover what it means to follow Christ in their everyday lives.
Sports
At NCA, athletics provide opportunities for students to develop teamwork, persaverance, sportsmanship, and confidence. As NCA Knights, students compete with other Christian schools wthrough the Toronto Eastern division of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

Service Projects
At NCA, we believe following Christ means learning to love and serve others. Through service projects, students have opportunities to put their faith into action, develop compassion, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Our students have participated in initiatives such as Operation Christmas Child shoebox collections, food bank donation drives, and projects supporting overseas missions. These experiences encourage students to recognize the needs of others and discover the joy of serving together.
Band
At NCA, students in grade 5-8 have the opportunity to explore their musical abilities through our band program. As they learn to play instruments and make music together, students develop creativity, persaverance, confidence, and teamwork.
Throughout the year, students have opportunities to share what they've learned through performances at school events, including Christmas concerts, Grandparents' Day, and a spring music competition at Canada's Wonderland.
French
We believe learning a new language should be engaging, interactive, and fun! Beginning in Junior Kindergarten, students are introduced to French through the AIM (Accelerative Integrated Method) approach which incorporates gestures, movement, storytelling, and conversation.
Through these interactive experiences, students develop their French communication skills, build confidence in expressing themselves, and discover the joy of learning another language.
