We have been at NCA for 2.5 years now and my absolute favourite thing is the strong sense of community. The teachers nurture students emotional well being (the small classroom sizes help with this) while working hard on academics and sports (run club is very popular!). My children are so excited for school everyday and beg to attend aftercare because it’s so fun! We interviewed a variety of other schools in the area and are beyond happy we chose NCA.
Our family has had an excellent experience at NCA, particularly because of the dedicated teachers, programs available, and smaller class sizes. The teachers are caring, professional, and genuinely invested in each student’s success. With smaller class sizes, our child receives more individual attention, has more opportunities to participate, and benefits from instruction that is tailored to his learning needs. Academically, NCA offers a curriculum that builds strong foundational skills while encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning. We have appreciated the clear communication from teachers, meaningful feedback on our child’s progress, and the way faith and character are woven into daily learning. We also value that NCA provides an affordable tuition level, making a private Christian education more accessible for families. We highly recommend NCA to families seeking excellent academics, personal attention, and good value.
This is my son’s first year at NCA & he enjoys school so much he asks to stay in Aftercare. He has been eagerly sharing what he has learned at school with us - about photosynthesis & French vocabulary (petit/grand, vite, tête/genou/coud) as it comes up in daily life. I am so thrilled to have found a school that is both academically strong & a welcoming community.
Newmarket Christian Academy is a wonderful private school with small class sizes, affordable tuition, amazing teachers, and an environment rooted in kindness, love, and encouragement—promoting academic and faith-based growth. For those looking for a private Christian school, I highly recommend NCA.
